Our story

OG Laboratories
BUILT ON THE INDUSTRY THAT BUILT THE WORLD.

To us, the North isn't just a geographical location—it is a spiritual distinction. It’s a standard of resilience that we apply to everything we do here at OG.
We pride ourselves on our roots. The North was the engine room of the globe; from the coal that powered nations to the steel, that built ships, and chemicals that built empires, this region has always mastered the elements of progress. At OG,we carry that heritage in our blood.
We have taken that relentless Northern drive and focused it on a new frontier: Elite Biological Research. Our expertise spans from precision dieting and high-performance supplementation to the fundamental laws of Biology. We are now entering the elite world of Biochemistry—delivering pure power through rigorous science.
At OG, we don't guess; we calculate. We don’t care about your past failures. To us, those setbacks are just a part of who you are—the raw material we use to build what’s next. We care about your journey. When you work with us, we are the beginning, the middle, and the end. We stay in the race until the result is delivered. We are here to ensure your journey reaches its absolute peak.

Our History

From Joe 90 to the Golden Era

It all started with a film called Pumping Iron.

Before that moment, humans like that simply didn't exist in my world. I was just an underdeveloped, chubby kid with thick glasses and a classic 1970s page-boy haircut—more like Joe 90 or the Milkybar Kid than a powerhouse. To say my mind was blown is an understatement. The men on that screen were figures straight out of a comic book, and they shattered my reality.

At the center of it all was Arnold Schwarzenegger. Backed by the powerhouse machinery of the Joe Weider stable, Arnold became the ultimate catalyst. Together, they smashed the old stereotype of the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal, replacing it with slick, entertaining showmen and transforming damp basement gyms into a multi-billion-dollar global industry.

To me, it was transformational. Arnold opened my eyes to a radical truth: the human body wasn't a fixed state. It was something you could actively build. I quickly became an obsessed student of the Golden Era legends—Reeves, Pearl, Zane, Oliva, and of course, Big Lou Ferrigno.

The last fifty years have been a rollercoaster of massive ups and heavy downs. There were times I was well and truly lost, but through all the chaos, there was always one constant: The Grind, the protocol, the routine.

I’ve lived through every single evolution of this world. I've trained in the grit of garage sweat-boxes and in high-end, air-conditioned acres complete with plunge pools and hyperbaric chambers. I’ve watched the fads come and go, and seen the explosion of modern equipment. Yet, through all that noise, three fundamental truths have never changed.

First, BE HERE NOW. The cold honest fact is you only ever get out what you put in. So whether you are lying on a beach playing with your kids or sweating through a brutal set, you have to inhabit that moment completely.

Second, ACCEPT AND EMBRACE THE EVOLUTION. Equipment changes, science advances, and methods will continually refine, but the basic laws of physical progression remain absolute. You have to adapt, master the data, and respect the discipline—or you get left behind.

Third, and most importantly, you eventually have to look in the mirror and face the ultimate truth:

THE COMPETITION IS ONLY EVER WITH YOUR SELF
